At Habersham Row, you’re not only receiving a home, but a new way of life! Pets are allowed at Habersham Row. Only two (2) pets may reside per apartment. For pets, we require a $300 one time non-refundable pet fee per pet, and $20 per pet per month in conjunction with the agreed upon rental rate. Rental rates are not guaranteed without a deposit, and rates are subject to change.
A pet may be allowed on property only after proper fees and permissions/forms have been approved through management. Animals always kept in a tank or cage, such as hamsters or fish, shall be considered by the following: if the cage/tank could not hold more than 1 gallon, it is decoration. If the cage/tank is capable of holding more than 1 gallon, it is a pet (i.e., 2 goldfish in a small vase would be decor while 2 Koi in a 10 gallon tank would be 1 pet).
Canines (dogs) that have been deemed vicious or aggressive by a licensed veterinarian, Federal, State, or Local authorities or ruled aggressive or vicious by a court of law shall not be permitted. Canine breeds including but not limited to German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Chow Chows, Dalmatians, Mastiffs, Great Danes, Akitas, Staffordshire Terriers, and/or Pit Bulls shall not be permitted.
Pets must be confined to the pet owner’s unit and must not be allowed to roam free or be tethered and must not be left unattended on patios or balconies. Pets must be leashed at all times when walking on property. Pet owner must always have control of leashed pet. Pet waste must be disposed of properly. Pet waste stations are provided throughout the property. If pet waste is not properly disposed of, there will be an initial fine of $150 for the first offense and $200 + Security Deposit Forfeiture for the second occurrence. Any additional violations will result in a $250 fine and possible lease termination. Cat litter may not be disposed of in toilets and must be properly disposed of in the dumpster.
Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pet(s). Any damage caused by cleaning chemicals or other such materials used in an attempt to remedy said damage is also the full responsibility of the pet owner. No pet should be allowed to be come a nuisance or create any unreasonable disturbance. No pets of guests of residents are allowed to stay within the unit without being properly registered at the office. This registration includes the $300 non-refundable pet fee and $20 monthly pet rent of the month(s) staying.
Pet owners shall identify Engage Management and hold it harmless against loss or liability of any kind arising from their pet(s).
